It has been long, hasn't it?

I didn't want to start with another rant and I kept waiting for something small and witty to come up in my head that I can write about but nothing ever did.
I've literally fallen asleep thinking about what to write in my blog*.

But today, I was talking to this junior about how it's illegal to be operating an institute from a construction site**, and how we're risking life and limb every day, and he came up with a witty one-liner which I felt was perfect for a small short post on my blog.

Behold.

"Courses cause a higher amount of mental damage than any accident at construction site can ever cause."

Things aren't fun and games in here anymore.

* That's how I usually utilize that time between lying down and falling asleep: obsessively concentrating on important things like this helps to keep pure fear from striking me. Otherwise, the resulting adrenaline drives away any sleep I had so far managed to accumulate as I lie on my back furtively looking from side to side, too afraid to even go and switch on the light because I'm afraid someone will attack me from behind on my way, and certain that someone is crouching on the window ledge, waiting for me to fall asleep.
One time I just kept imagining that there were dead people lying all around me.

** What we are doing.

How long does it take you to fall asleep, then?

There was one night when I stayed awake until the sun rose enough to dispel the darkness in my room - something like 5 am it must have been. So that was nearly 3 hours of staying awake. Other times, it has only been until 4 am or 4.30 am. :)
